From the cabin, you will enjoy stunning views of Enchanted Rock and the surrounding green, open landscape. Rockview Cabin 1 is ideal for two guests, featuring a king-size bed and a full kitchen. It offers a quiet, comfortable setting with all the essentials, letting you enjoy the serenity of nature while still having the comforts of home. Enchanted Rock, a geological marvel located in central Texas just minutes away from Rockview Cabin, captivates visitors with its sheer size and mystical ambiance. This massive pink granite dome, rising over 400 feet above the surrounding terrain, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Hill Country landscape. From hiking to stargazing, Enchanted Rock State Natural Area beckons adventurers to explore its rugged beauty and experience the enchantment of the Texas wilderness. Make sure to reserve a pass prior to your trip on the Park's website as park passes are reserved quickly and it is worth seeing up close. Embark on a journey of endless exploration and culinary indulgence at Rockview Cabin. Whether you're drawn to charming wineries or picturesque landscapes, there's an experience to suit every taste. Delve into the awe-inspiring majesty of Enchanted Rock and adjacent hiking paths and hunting grounds, offering boundless opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts to revel in nature's beauty. Early check-in and late check-out are possible, subject to availability and with an associated fee. The primary guest must be at least 21 years old and present for the entire reservation. Smoking is not allowed on the premises inside or outside. Pets are not allowed in Cabin 1 or 5. Parties are not allowed. Guests are not allowed to wander around the ranch and must stay within the yard boundaries of their dwelling as there are hunters, other properties, snakes, and rough terrain. There is a fire pit and BBQ grill on site for guest use. Please bring your own supplies, extinguish any flames or coals after each use, and adhere to any county burn ban in effect. Fireworks are not allowed. Lighting candles is not allowed inside the property. Additional fees may be incurred if personal items are left behind. If any furniture is moved, please place it back in the original space where it was found. Use of firearms and weaponry onsite is prohibited. In the event that you need to use the hard key, please place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key. This is a dark sky community. Please be sure to shut off any lights when they are not in use. Please do not set the home's thermostat above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, adjust the thermostat by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. This property is on well water and with the extreme heat and current drought, the water pressure is low. Please be mindful of your water use and help us make efforts to conserve. It is best to shower one at a time as the water may not be able to sustain multiple locations all at once. This is a rural property out in the Texas Hill Country, where it's common to encounter wildlife such as birds, reptiles, deer, and other local fauna. Rural areas like ours may have limited or different services compared to urban settings, including cell phone and delivery services. Texas is known for its bug inhabitants. We take proactive measures to manage this, and it shouldn't pose a problem during your stay. To help us keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed. Feel free to use the bug spray underneath the sink. Quiet hours are between 22:00 and 7:00.
