It's quiet and there's usually a lovely breeze--I rarely use the air conditioner. The big windows offer beautiful nightly sunsets and then the hills of Silver Lake twinkle through the trees after the sun goes down. The neighborhood is great for hiking -- there are great views of the city and surrounding hills. The Self-Realization Center is a short hike--it's a great place for a quiet stroll among lush gardens and a bit of meditation, if that's your thing. The apartment is on the border of Glassell Park, Eagle Rock, and Highland Park. Silver Lake is about ten or so minutes away and downtown L.A. about fifteen minutes. Cool little pubs/restaurants are close by. The main floor has a bathroom with a nice, deep tub, a small bedroom with a twin bed, a kitchen/dining area, and living room. Upstairs is a full bedroom. The apartment is the bottom level of a residential home, so please note there are stairs (see images). Kitchen bonus: A high-end juicer and a Breville Bambino Plus Espresso machine. Yum, yum! On street parking only. (Usually available right outside house.) Rent includes utilities, wifi. There's an Apple TV box for you to plug in your streaming services. Laundry room on premises.
