We absolutely adore this home but distance is cause to let it go. 8 years of work and remodelling with lots of love. The house is on a quiet (dead end) street with very little traffic. All of our neighbours are excellent people who mind their business but always look after the place when we are away. Well behaved children live in the vicinity and we are within 5 minutes walking distance to the high school. The house has new plumbing, new electrical service, newly remodelled kitchen, bathroom, workroom with fireplace, energy efficient windows, metal roof, new refrigerator and range, hardwood floors, custom cabinets, customs shower (Huge!) with dual shower heads, covered parking in the driveway, huge back yard with 6 foot fence and 3 points of entry, new washer and drier hook-ups, and lots of storage space. This house was specially laid out for a single person or couple to live very comfortably and has a work room that gets lots of sunlight and is set up very efficiently. I did a lot of automotive hobby work and ran a small internet based business out of this home. If you tired of looking at 'tired' homes in this area, come on over and see ours. This house has a crawl space underneath rather than a concrete foundation. This makes it very easy to make repairs or upgrades to the plumbing, flooring and electrical on the house, the furnace and cooler work excellent. The house is far more sturdy and quiet than the cheaply built homes of today. monthly utilities were about $100 on average.
