Whats shared housing? Google it... Its big in Europe, growing in NYC, spreading in Seattle and we have 4 shared homes in the Upper Merion / Bridgeport area. In short, shared housing is community living where each tenant (3 in this house) has their own bedroom bath and sitting area. In addition to their personal space, there are many shared areas in the home to relax, be productive and enjoy camaraderie. Our latest community effort is an 1898 row home in the Taphouse neighborhood of Bridgeport, sustainably rebuilt to maximize comfort, foster camaraderie and deliver purpose to three MOMs (our motivators, organizers & mentors) born in the 40's, 50's or 60's... In short, were a Best of Breed comfort home for women that want a good run well into the 21st century! One of the recipe component to get us there is comfort.. Weve paid extra attention to both the skin (envelope) on ReidHaus and a comprehensive list of indoor components such as fresh air, lighting, sound attenuation and a fussy selection of healthy building materials.
