Steps to Secure the Apartment:
1.Application Submission
Submit your rental application along with all required supporting documents to the listing broker.
2.Security Deposit
If both parties agree to proceed, a security deposit equal to one month's rent will be required to secure the unit. At this stage, the listing will be taken off the market.
3.Lease Signing
The lease agreement and rider will be sent out for all parties to review and sign.
4.Initial Payment
Once the lease and rider are fully executed, the first month's rent (or prorated rent, if applicable) will be collected.
5.Final Submission to Management
The tenant will then submit the complete lease package to the management company in person, along with the required application fee and move-in fee (if applicable).
6.Management Company Approval
The standard approval process by the management company typically takes 23 weeks.
If there's a need to expedite the process, please notify the listing broker so they can help push the application along.
