Neighborhood Description This home is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Boise for those interested in outdoor activities, and wanting to take advantage of the proximity to downtown. Situated in Boise's historic "Northend," our home is about a mile from the Hyde Park shopping area. Located in a quiet neighborhood just off Bogus Basin Road, it takes about 35 minutes to drive to the ski area in the winter. For mountain bikers, you can be on the extensive network of trails in the Foothills within 5 minutes. For road cycling, Bogus Basin is a legendary 16-mile climb with great scenery and very little traffic. If I want to flyfish, I'm casting to fish within 15 minutes. The Highlands elementary school (great field for exercising dogs!) is a 5 minute walk up the cul-de-sac. And Camel's Back Park, the pre-eminent meeting place in town for cyclists, hikers and trail runners, is about a 7 minute walk away.
