The Parco Apartments is under new ownership and management since October 2019. The historic 106 year old red brick apartment building is located near the heart of downtown Brazil. The apartments are within walking distance to most of the downtown restaurants and retail shops. It is also one block away from Meridian Elementary School. All the apartments and common areas have recently been restored and/or renovated to bring back the original beauty of the building. The apartments have original wood flooring, transom windows, original built in cupboards & anwars, wood trim, and large family rooms and dining rooms. This apartment is located on the first floor and has new kitchen cabinets, new kitchen countertops, new stove, new bathroom vanity, new bathroom countertop, and transom window over bathroom door. All leases are 12 months. No short term leases. The building and apartments are all non-smoking. Tenants are responsible for their electric bill. Water, sewer and trash are included in the rent. The laundry room is located in the basement of the building. Storage units are also available to rent for an additional monthly fee. Pets are allowed. A cat and/or a dog only. Limit one dog and one cat per apartment. Limit two pets, total. Pets must be housebroken, not pad trained. Dogs must be under 24 lbs. with additional breed restrictions. Additional one-time fee and monthly charges apply per pet. In order to qualify to apply, prospective tenant's monthly income must be at least 3 times the monthly rent. Anyone 18 and older that will be living in the apartment needs to fill out an application and pass a background check. The application & background check fee total is $125 per person. We do in depth checks on criminal, eviction, and credit history. Automatic declines for any charges of drugs/pot, felonies, theft, violent crimes, sex offenders and filings for evictions.
