My partner and I are looking for someone to take over our lease for an apartment directly across the street from the Fort Totten Metro in NE DC. The place has access to three different metro lines and several buses. The apartment has 1 bed, 1 bath, and a den that can be used as a second bedroom. There is also a full size washer dryer in the unit, a walk-in closet, and a balcony. It's 752 sq ft. Amenities include pool access, a fitness center, a free outdoor parking space, and a game room. 2 pets up to 50 lbs are allowed. We have already paid the pet deposit.
The move in date would be September 1st for a 5 month lease, after which can be renewed if wanted. A 3 month old twin mattress, with bedframe can also be included for $100. Valet trash is included and other utilities (excluding internet) run roughly $120 per month. Move in costs would include a $300 lease transfer fee and a $50 application fee, but no security deposit.
