The location, the neighborhood environment and lifestyle contributed to very comfortable rural living. One of the greatest asspects of living here is the location. Proximity to Rt. 7 with the supermarket, the pharmacy, dry cleaners, bank, post office and a variety of restaurants readily available, is unique to Weston. We are 10 miles from the Danbury Mall, 8 miles from the Merritt Parkway, and 4 miles from the schools. Another special feature is the neighborhood environment found on Osborn and Old Farm Roads. Here my family was able to go outside and play with neighborhood friends. Again, 36 years later, Osborn Farm has become a great neighborhood. AND of course, I love my home!! What originally attracted me was the light. Even on a cloudy day this house is bright and cheery. It is a great party house! With its open floor plan and access to the sun porch most of the year, entertaining is easy and fun. The built-in bar and pool are wonderful assets. The lower level is a fantastic gathering place and getaway for children, and young people. We often thought that the lower level could be an in-law apartment if needed. One thought Ive had about the living room/dining area, was to convert it into a great room using the living room as a dining area, and placing a TV and comfy seating in the dining area. This house has been a wonderful home for us!
