A fantastic getaway camp for a family, located in one of the most pristine places in the United States. Nesourdnahunk Lake, upon which this cabin sits, borders Baxter State Park, a wildlife preserve. The lake shoreline is protected from further development by a conservation easement managed by The Nature Conservancy. This two bedroom cabin comfortably sleeps 6 people (each bedroom has a bunk bed and separate bed). Propane delivered to the cabin by Dead River Company provides heat, lighting, refrigeration and power for the oven/stove. The cabin kitchen and bathroom are connected to a water and waste disposal system that is managed by the condominium association. The bathroom has a toilet and shower but no bathtub. The current owners purchased the cabin in 1998 and have enjoyed countless long weekends and one and two-week vacations. Children have loved the opportunities to swim off the dock, paddle the lake, fish for brook trout, fly kites, play Frisbee, hike into Baxter State Park and be together in the cabin playing chess, assembling puzzles and reading leisurely. It is a perfect place to be.
