The Letort is inspired by the design of the Charleston Single House, home perfect for a long and narrow homesite. It featured entry on the side of the home with the narrow front of the home facing the street. Historically, the house was only one room wide in front and back (on either side of the entry and centra staircase). The Letort takes this inspiration but provides more rooms and more flexibility.
