The houseboat is a single level open studio style space on a private gated slip in a well established marina. Very quiet and peaceful area. It's ideal for guests looking for a budget friendly place to relax on the water. If you are super picky or expecting the Ritz then this place isn't for you. It is extremely minimal and very basic. LINENS: You are required to bring your own linens. There is a full-size mattress that is kept extremely clean. It has been in a protective zippered waterproof cover since new and also has a waterproof mattress pad along with an extra zippered cover. There are four pillows provided that have zippered covers on them. You are required to bring sheets, pillow cases and blankets just like of you were setting up at a campsite! BATHROOM: Cabin style bathroom with Porta Jon is available: just like opening a porta potty there is a cabin style bathroom with Porta John available for your use. You are responsible for cleaning up after using the porta bathroom. Full disclosure: no one ever uses it and no one has ever used it. It's available just in case. Guest walk to the 24/7 bathhouse to use the facilities. It's very close. Literally a minute or two to walk to it. Have you ever been camping You know how when you go camping and you need to use the bathroom, you walk to the bathhouse in the campground. This place is exactly like that. Think of it as a primitive floating camp site and you won't be let down! If you are not OK with that then this place is simply not for you. Please read through the entire listing and preview all of the pictures before booking. It's a great place to relax at the lake! The marina will NOT help you and it's not acceptable to expect any level of assistance from them. I'm available 24/7 for anything you may need! The marina does not appreciate people who show up and play dumb. I give detailed instructions and require a safety call for all stays so you will know exactly what to do and where to go and how to check in! Private owners like myself simply rent space inside the marina. You must take full responsibility for yourself and your guests during your stay. A safety mindset is expected throughout your stay.
