Not a huge house, but perfect for a family w/1 or 2 kids. We gutted remodeled the living area, kitchen & bathroom. cabinetry, all solid wood by KitchenMaid. Designed/built an island w/cabinets as its base, the top is also the Corian used for countertops, deep white sink, Corian as well. It seats 4-5 comfortably. We built a room in the basement w/an attached 1/2 bath. Currently serves as my workout spot, but used as a bedroom for 2 yrs prior. I chose plush black carpet & light grey walls, for an industrial look & feel. Also built a very deep closet w/organizational shelving, hooks & cubbies everywhere. LOVE that closet. The best investment so far was the whole-home generator we bought after the October ice-storm a few yrs ago that crippled the city for 8 days. Its hard wired into the house, so when the power fails, I go down to the circuit box, flip a switch, and we're back in biz.
