This house is one of a kind and has amazing charm that we fell in love with; it was unlike any other house that we looked at in the county. It has a two-car attached garage and a car and half detached garage that we used as a shop/gym. But can be turned into anything! The house is move in ready with many updates already done for you: brand new granite countertops and sinks in both full baths upstairs, second floor carpet is only 2 years old, newly remodeled kitchen and main floor bathroom with 2 yo granite countertops. All appliances in kitchen are stainless-steel, including a double oven; all put in 2 years ago! The living room/dining room is the gem of the whole house: an open concept with a stained wood vaulted ceiling, brand new iron chandelier, and a working fireplace. In the center of the house is an amazingly beautiful atrium. This is truly a unique attribute to set this house apart from all others. It’s an amazing place to entertain, have a family breakfast, or turn into an outdoor tv room! My wife and I loved to spend time out there. The landscape has been cleaned up and improved with many drought resistant plants added around the immediate parameter and palm trees in the front and back. There’s no grass to water or mow, but there is some periodic maintenance and thinning of shrubs/trees on the rest of the 2.7acre property. We did not feel right cutting everything on the hill down, we figured that would be the new owner’s choice of how private they want to keep their hilltop house (it’s not because we were lazy.) It provided quite a bit of peace and solitude from the road and neighbors in the canyon. The master suite is spacious with lots of closet space; including a walk-in closet and a balcony for the best view on the property. Master bathroom has “his and her” vanities with brand new granite countertops and sinks, the bathtub is separate from the shower (NEW glass shower door.) The two other spare bedrooms are surprisingly large for a 1970’s house. With ample closet space. One Closet even has a crawlspace in it to a small storage room, added bonus! We made this house very pet friendly, there is a cat door from the downstairs hallway into the garage so you don’t have a smelling litter box in the house. Also, there is 3 ft high, fenced in dog kennel in the garage that has a dog door to the outside fenced area so they have access all day! Extremely handy for long days at work. Being completely honest, the outside fence is showing its age, but is still fully functional. (Sorry, I just didn’t have enough time to replace it) If you need space to park your toys… this is the place for you. We had three vehicles and an RV and still had plenty of parking spaces for friends to park. This house is priced to sell. We had it appraised 2 years ago for $640K, before many of the updates.
