The House This well maintained house has two bedrooms (one large, one small); two bathrooms (one with tub/shower, one with stall shower); a living room with a gas fireplace; a dining room with glass paned doors; a kitchen with an dining nook with ceiling fan, and stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher; a laundry room with a washer and dryer; five closets; and central heating with art deco register covers. Floors are either hardwood or tile throughout. All windows are double glazed. Water, trash and recycling collection, monthly landscape care, and WiFi are included in rent (a $400 monthly value). Garden offers mature landscaping and a paver patio. Another resident occupies a separate dwelling on the same site, but none of the indoor or outdoor spaces are shared. This is the person who will show you the property that is available for rent. The Neighborhood The Dimond District is home to many stores, shops and restaurants, all within a short walk of the house. Recreation areas are the Dimond Park right nearby, and the much larger and grander Joaquin Miller Park and Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park a healthier hike up the hill (30-45 minutes). Chabot Space and Science Center is a good bike ride, a major hike, or a short drive away. To get to Fruitvale BART you can walk (30 minutes), take a bus, or drive. Two casual carpool stops are a five to ten minute walk away. Access to 580 is almost instantaneous and a typical drive into San Francisco takes 20 minutes in normal traffic. Rent and security are due at signing of a one year lease. Resident manages weekly movement of trash and recycling bins, periodic filter changes on furnace, and regular filter cleaning on dryer. Electricity, gas, cable and any other utilities not listed as included are the responsibility of the resident. Plants introduced by residents are responsibility of resident and are to be kept in non landscaped areas. Smoking of any kind is not allowed on the property. One dedicated parking place is available in the driveway.
