There are two well-appointed rooms--a bedroom with a double bed, and a second room that can be used as a study or living room, with couch and desk. A washer and dryer are located in the basement right off of the apartment and are for your exclusive use. There is also a large area for storage in the same room. Most of the artwork in the apartment is by local Oakland artists. I have a large garden and grow lots of succulents, flowers and am starting to get into growing food as well! You are welcome to a garden bed if you'd like to play in the dirt a bit! I am a musician and teach during the day, so it would be best if you worked the day shift. I have lived here for over 30 years and I love the neighborhood. Its very hilly, which is great for walks! No pets. No smoking. Off street parking.
