ABOUT THE OWNER:
I am a one-woman business, doing something that is different from any other Raleigh rental housing. I am a grandmother, an artist, and an old hippy with clear memories of my grandparent's gentle farm in the mountains. This is my gift back to the world.
Instead of sterilizing the landscape, I am going in the direction of naturalist Doug Tallamy and garden artist Piet Oudolf. It is expensive, labor-intensive, impractical in the short-term, taking time and patience, but if you look closely at the pictures, you will see an Eastern tiger swallowtail butterfly on tall purple flowers
there is Mother Nature regenerating right before our eyes.
