Welcome to your new Woodstock home. The Studio is an airy, spacious, timber frame with heated concrete floors, marble bathroom, and cozy spaces for rest and relaxation. With walls of windows, it will keep you connected to nature and is the perfect place to rejuvenate. The house has a relaxed easy calm about it. Sited beautifully on a hill on 3 wooded acres on the border of Woodstock and Bearsville. You will very much feel like you are living in the forest here, but several restaurants and the Bearsville Theatre are within walking distance. The Studio's AC makes it nice and cool for hot summer days. It has everything you need for the perfect getaway: Fully furnished Excellent wifi: you will have no trouble having simultaneous zoom calls and watching Netflix at the same time Cozy woodstove Desk 3 acres of land 5 minute walk to several restaurants and the Bearsville Theatre Serene and clean with soft sheets and fluffy towels Charcoal BBQ Well stocked, full kitchen We have a French press, electric kettle and coffee grinder Sleeps up to 4: 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed, 1 blow up bed. Pack and Play and high chair available on request. As of right now, we have a resident fox as well as deer that frequent the yard. It is not uncommon to see all manner of birds including wild turkeys. Though with the fox around, we see the turkeys less often! You would be hard pressed to find a space with more natural light. We specifically positioned the main house to optimize diffused light. The sunroom gets more direct light (it has blinds) and was originally designed to be an art studio but is currently set up for TV watching with one wall of windows and the other a long white, blank wall. This space could also be set up for additional sleeping quarters as the space is large, has doors on either end and is also sound proofed. The downstairs bedroom has a blackout shade and would be ideal for a baby / child who needs naps. If you are someone who needs to sleep in darkness, we can also move the queen bed into that room. We want to keep this a quiet and tranquil space. Absolutely no parites. There is a sound ordinance in Woodstock: you may not make noise outside after 9pm. Not to be taken lightly. Black bears are common all over Woodstock. To keep bears away, please do not leave any food outside. Tucked away on 3 acres, The Studio is a space where indoors and outdoors mesh. Walls of windows, polished concrete floors, lofted and airy. The space has a tranquil and easy going ambiance. This is a very special property and we are looking for the right tenants. No smoking
