We were gone for over eight months and never locked the doors and the most exciting thing that happened was a tree falling in the garden! Grandchildren bike to summer sailing at youth yacht club, tennis club and local market to grab a sandwich. Cotuit is off the beaten path as the cape goes. It is a destination and not a pass through community that allows for children having freedom to be children in the natural environment that is rare in today's world. A best kept secret in our eyes!
