Built in 1961 (when houses were built to last), my home has been completely remodeled over the years. Hardwoods have been resurfaced, all original windows replaced with double pane Argonne E, painted crown molding in every room, faux finish on walls and most ceilings, new dish washer, high efficiency furnace, and hot water heater. Master bath remodeled with travertine tile, Kholer 8-jet tub, rain shower head and body sprayers, and faux finished walls and ceiling. Front yard leveled and grass replaced with Japanese zoysia, pines removed and replaced with cherry and maple trees. Back yard leveled with retaining wall, lights added and new fescue sod put down. Two sheds added to the back yard, one utility shed for tools and a 16'X20' barn style shed with loft for storage. Large shed is insulated, and has two 15 amp lines run to it. Basement has been renovated with new carpet, 16 recessed lights and lighted crown on 5 individual switches. Secondary switches for stainless steel fans and landing light. Walls are textured faux finish, ceiling is faux finished and surround sound system has been hardwired into the ceiling and wall. All bedrooms, living room and media room have painted crown molding, ceiling fans and faux finish. Kitchen floor has been covered with 33,000 pennies, attached with liquid nails and covered by three coats of oil based poly. It will still be here 100 years from now. Roof was replace in 2021, AC in 2017 and high efficiency furnace in 2012. It has a 40 gallon Fury hot water heater installed in 2009 and the main water and sewer line to the county lines was completely replaced in 2018 (a $9,000 repair). Deck has been stained an waterproofed every two years since I purchased the house in 2004. Neighborhood Description Because this is a court, the neighbors tend to be closer than in other places I have lived. I am on a first name basis with everyone in a three house span in every direction and know several people even farther down the street. The neighborhood has a lot of dog owners and it's common for people to spontaneously gather and talk when the weather gets warm. In the 11 years I have lived on Pioneer Ct. there has been no crime other than a kid who was caught stealing change out of unlocked cars in 2004. Other than a couple of rental homes, the neighborhood has been very stable and people look out for one another.
