The 3 bed/3bath home was built in 1999 for me, and the 2bed/2bath cottage was built in 2010 for my father. Both homes have hardwood floors and ceramic tile throughout and are two-story. The appliances are energy efficient. There are two side-by-side refrigerators in the main house and two refrigerators in the guest cottage. They have Rinnai on-demand hot water, and each home has a 500-gallon underground propane tank. The main house has a standalone Briggs & Stratton whole house generator. Each house has a gas stove, gas hot water and dryers. Both homes had a metal roof installed in 2008. The property is completely fenced and double fenced. The pond is stocked with largemouth bass, bream & carp. There is a 50X60 workshop with cement floor and lighting. There are two outbuildings for storage. There are 7 fields that have a hydrant on each field for watering crops and livestock. The property is located in the county and is zoned for bed & breakfast and horses. My husband raised produce, and I raised flowers. The NC Botanical Gardens donated flats of Swamp Milkweed to help my plantation become a butterfly paradise. We raised goats, sheep and cows. There are two shelters for animals in order to separate males from females. There is a chicken coop with 5 hens and one rooster. It is quiet, peaceful and picturesque. Guests enjoy their stay and seldom want to leave. Paradise Plantation has no comps. I do not need to post pictures because it is worth seeing if only to know why it owns up to its name. It has a price listed, but it is priceless.
What the owner loves about this home
A plantation nestled in rolling pines with abundant birds and wildlife, fishing & hunting, plenty of water, flowers & produce. It is truly a piece of Paradise.
