It's a very quiet residential area. The area is home to a lot of city and professional workers such as Firefighters, Police Officers and Teachers. We have a choice of 3 grocery stores in the area to shop at: An Ultra Foods, Aldi's Food and Lagen's a neighborhood grocery. Both Aldi's and Lagen's are actually located in Evergreen Park, but the area of Wrightwood I live in, is very near the dividing line between the City of Chicago and Evergreen Park. That line is 87th Street which is a major east-west through way.
