Built over 100 years ago, the "Surf Shack" has been restored with upgrades while keeping all the charm and original character intact. Outfitted with brand new LG kitchen appliances and a fun retro style refrigerator, we have combined simplicity with cozy to create a comfortable "getaway." Just 7 miles from Anna Maria Island and 2 miles from Bradenton's downtown Riverwalk; this centrally located home sits in one of the city's oldest and charming neighborhoods known once as Forgartyville. Only a couple blocks from the Manatee River, this area has so many wonderful outdoor activities to offer. The "Surf Shack" is available both for short term as well as long term rentals for those needing a place to call Home while visiting the Sarasota/Bradenton area. This is a furnished short term rental. Rent includes water, sewer, electric, and Wi-Fi with a $300 cap on utilities. Guest pay $200 departure cleaning fee, plus 7%, sales tax and a 6% resort tax. Available starting February 1, 2025. No pets, no smoking/vaping or illegal drug use on premises. Property has a long private driveway that can park up to 4 cars. Recreational vehicles, boats and trailers are not permitted to park in front of the house but only for temporary loading and unloading or cleaning purposes.
