This adorable cottage sits with eight other cottages in a community called Griffin Court in the heart of Galilee behind Buster Krab’s Restaurant which is across the street from Champlin’s restaurant. Salty Brine public beach, George’s of Galilee restaurant, and the boardwalk are a short two blocks from the cottage community. Feel free to go back and forth to and from the beach all day easily without having to worry about parking. There are several other restaurants in the area, along with the Block Island Ferry terminal, shops, fish and lobster fresh off the boat, boat launch and more! This is a prime location for summer fun. (You must drive through Buster Krab’s parking lot to access cottages) Our cottage used to be just the size of the Living Room space and was formerly a fishing shack in Jerusalem when…The Great Hurricane of 1938 swept several of the fishing shacks across the inlet to where they rest today in Griffin Court. Others built their own cottages that make up our community of nine cottages total. There were 11 in all but two of them (letters C and D) were torn down due to rot.
