In addition there is a recently added fenced garden area next to the home where many fruit trees have been planted and raised beds made from concrete block for vegetables, etc. Owners Opinion: Zillows "Zestimate" is flawed as it is partially based on the assessed value by the county. We transferred our property tax base from our previous home of 27 years to save on property tax. This is something that can be done by seniors moving between certain counties in CA. Zillow bases their estimate partially on the assessed value which in our case is low due to the afore mentioned tax base transfer.
