Convenience! Right smack dab in the middle of Mathiston. We are down the hill from Piggly Wiggly, 1/2 mile to EWE school, 7.2 miles to EWH school, and 1/4 mile to Urgent Care. We have lived in our home since 1991 and have made several updates like tile and laminate flooring, built in microwave, new countertops and custom made cabinets. The house is 4 bedrooms, 1 bath and can easily have a small bathroom or half bath constructed with a sub-floor in the one end of the utility room. The backyard is fenced in for our dogs and has a slab poured for a kennel which sits out there now. We are surrounded by big, beautiful trees that shade the home and we especially love the beautiful magnolia tree that is right out front. There is NO central but there are 4 window units and 4 ceiling fans—even in summertime, our 4 County power bill doesn’t go over $225 and most months (and that’s running 3 ACs and 3 ceiling fans a LOT), it’s around $125. The water bill hovers around $50 a month for a family of 3 (which includes seeer and garbage pickup). We have ATMOS natural gas and we currently have a gas water heater, gas stovetop and gas heat (2 space heaters) and the bill averages around $25 in the summer and $100 in the winter. We have internet and WIFI through MAXXSOUTH and it runs $90 per month. Outside trim, shutters and doors have all been painted the summer of 2018. There is a small outside building that we purchased from Lowe’s and it sits on a slab; we also have a large metal covering that our pontoon boat sits under so it’s pretty tall.
