This home has an open floor plan. The kitchen overlooks the garden on the north side and you have a complete view to the west. The wood stove served as a center where we gathered most mornings and evenings to read out loud. The bathroom is big with a large Jacuzzi tub that has windows on three sides. The screened in back room was our kids' bedroom, big enough to divide in two. They did their home school studies here, sat for long hours reading, played many games of pretend and stared out the windows that surrounded them on three sides. There is a wide covered porch on two sides. We often ate meals here and slept on a raised bed year round protected from the summer rains by the high ceiling. As a family of four we lived here quite comfortably. The home has the Gila Forest and Wilderness as its backyard and the Gila River flows by in the front. The property is covered in juniper, pinon, ponderosa and oak trees. There is a garage/workshop, a fenced garden, a vintage 1976 trailer, and water rights.
