Rental includes the house, yard, and outbuildings and some use of garden areas and fields, by arrangement. Solar panels provide much of the electricity, and a storm shelter is available for safety and extra storage space. Appliances are included. This is real country living, so you must be healthy and relatively self-reliant. Owners maintain the grounds farther from the house. Absolutely no smoking is allowed. Rental qualifications: 4 x rent verified monthly income with at least 12 months at current employer. Applicants will need an excellent rental history plus character references. This has been our family home for 25 years, so we are particular about people we rent to. We value honesty, consideration, and willingness to communicate. Good relationships are very important to us! Renter is responsible for all utilities and upkeep of the yard. No parking of extra vehicles or equipment without owner's written permission. Pets and animals must have prior written approval. You will have to be able to clear the long driveway of snow in winter and deal with temporary power outages during storms, etc. This is country living!
