This farm was bought in 2010 and it has been certified Organic by NOFA every year since then. There are 65 acres (30 acres open pastures, 35 acres woods) and contains an orchard with apple and pear trees, and an apiary all wired and ready for 20 hives. The main home which was begun in 2015 is a timber frame super-insulated building about 2500sf on 2.5 floors. It has an attached carport with four bays, and a summer room at one end with a root cellar beneath it. The property comes with a prefab one floor double-wide (1700 sf). We modified it according to ADA standards for accessibility. And there is a 3rd building, built in 2012 which is also a super-insulated building. It has commercial sales area/processing plant downstairs and an upstairs 2-bedroom apartment totaling around 2400sf on the 2 floors. This also has around 500sf of covered area for storage and animal pens.There is a medium sized barn with some stalls, a work area, an insulated room for raising chicks and a chicken coop. The loft can hold approximately 1400 bales of hay. There are several great building sites with privacy.
