    This lakefront log cabin is located on Watts Bar lake TN, located just off of the main channel in a storm protected deep water cove. During peak water levels the cove ranges up to 24' deep and maintains a depth of at least 10' in front of our dock during the low water months. Lake level lowers about 3-5 feet in the winter, by comparison Norris lake fluctuates about 20 feet. Watts Bar Lake, is an enormous navigable body of water leading to the Gulf of Mexico with a maximum depth of about 100' with 770 miles of shoreline. The main log cabin built in 1981, has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, with a wood burning stove and a big loft with 2 more beds. Added later in 1995 to the cabin is a sun room with fireplace, washer/dryer room and back porch overlooking the lake. The house has 1764 SF. Lot size is about 1 acre with 200' of shoreline. City water, septic system. and heating/cooling with a heat pump The covered carport (20'x30') with extra room on top has lots of storage space or can be converted into living quarters. It has electrical power and possible water hookup for a toilet. The garage is a separate 25’x22’ building. The current dock was constructed in2010. It has a dock house, big covered deck with wood stairs and aluminum ladder into water. The dock has 3 bays with 3 electric boat lifts. There is one double bay with a partial floating dock suitable for very large boats. What is unique is that the partial floating dock allows easy winter (striper & crappie fishing!) boat access. This is one of the few docks that has very deep water all year round. The entire dock contains appx 1700 sf of covered space. It is one of the largest docks on the lake, docks are now limited to a maximum of 1000 sf. Both the front and rear of the the have year round water.This is arguably the best dock on the lake, built for fishing, swimming, hanging out and just having fun. Metal roofs are on the house,carport room, garage and dock. A paved parking area is much bigger than most of the lake homes, suitable for many boats/cars. The house was purchased in 2008 for $325K, since then we have done more than $80k of improvements including expanding the single dock into a 3 bay covered dock with 8’x32’ deck and adding metal roofs to the carport and garage. We used the house about 10 times a year mostly for fishing. Stripers, bass, crappie and catfish are abundant. We have caught 40 lb catfish off the dock. In 1995 the previous owner built the added back porch, the sun room with fireplace and the washer/dryer room and the floors are not 100% level. The house is being sold as is.
