The values determined by Zillow are wholly inaccurate. The home next to us is virtually the same size, the lot is virtually the same size, it is a rental, it has no garage and we have a double attached garage. It has not been updated to the extent of our house either. AND YET, IT IS VALUED $45,000 MORE THAN OUR HOUSE!!! It is a damn rental. Where do they get their values…thin air??? Anyway, our roof was replaced in 2011. Siding replaced in 2011. Easy to clean windows replaced in 2011. Lighting fixtures in kitchen/dinette 2013. Lighting fixtures in all baths replaced 2016. The master bath was completely gutted and a new dual shower, bench, seamless shower door, with stone tile replaced a tub. A new vanity, sinks, and faucets were also installed. Cambria quartz covers vanity, bench, pony wall, and shower curb. In addition, new tile flooring was installed. In the hall bath, a new vanity, sinks, tub and toilet were installed in addition to new tile flooring. New tub to ceiling tile surrounds the new tub. In the powder room, a new vanity, toilet and paint. Each bathroom has new accessories. All the above bathroom updates were done in 2017. Zillow values should be taken “with a huge grain of salt”.
