Our home was built in 1740 and would appeal to people who have an interest in antique homes and would like to live in a friendly neighborhood where many faculty from Yale reside. Woodbridge is a lovely town only minutes from the New Haven boarder and about a 15 minute drive to the center of campus. It offers all the beauty of the country but only minutes away from all amenities and the offerings of New Haven as well 20 minutes from Trader Joes, Costco, Whole Foods and Target and much more in Orange and Milford, CT. Our home is a classic Cape on a half acre with two bedrooms, two baths, library/music room, living room, dining room, kitchen, washer and dryer. We have done a lot of painting and maintaining it's old charm. The house is a real retreat with a working fireplace in the dining room and a Jotul wood burning stove we installed in the living room. In addition there is a lovely in ground pool which could be negotiated into your contract if you wished to use it in the warmer weather. Our road is a non thoroughfare and extremely quiet and private. We love the house and location so much it was hard for us to part from it. We are most interested in leasing for 10 months out of the year so that we could come back for July and August. However, we are open to anyone interested. Renter is responsible for electric and oil. Last month's rent is due at signing. There is a driveway where up to four cars can park. No smoking. No pets.
