The home is surrounded by Corps of Engineers property and is at the end of a cul-de-sac and so there is a great deal of area between my home and my neighbors’ homes to the right and the left side of my home. My home is in a nice neighborhood but it is very quiet and I have a lot of privacy. My home is not directly beside (not very close, as with most homes in neighborhoods), to either of my next door neighbors homes. My home is on Corp of Engineers property, so there is wooded area between us with many trees, etc. and this land can’t be used to build other homes on. My neighbors behind my home are not really close either in that their large backyards border my backyard (backyards are back to back). I have many, many trees in my yard, which is on a slope in the front and flat in the back. There is a small stream with salamanders and crayfish that my granddaughters love and a lot of flowers in the front yard. There’s a 2 story colorful playhouse in the backyard, and a big porch in the back, with a hot tub under the pergola on the backporch, just steps from the living room. There is another door in the back, with a small porch, that exits the 2 daylight basement rooms, that can be used for a workroom/sewing room and a playroom or for bedrooms. The small laundry room is in one of the daylight basement rooms. One of the rooms also leads to a huge garage. I also have a very long driveway that can be used for parking as well. The living room, dining room and kitchen with an area for a kitchen table are up a few stairs once you enter the front door, with the daylight basement rooms being just a step down to the left when entering the front door. There are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and another bathroom with a garden tub on the floor up from the living room, which is a few steps up. I have a very nice, decorative front door and side panel and the front porch is of decent size, not huge but has stairs to the right and left and consists of a couple of levels. I have had the majority of my neighbors for 20 years and they are great. There is a huge octagon-shaped window in my living room, which has 15 ft or so ceiling and several skylights at the top. Also, a fireplace with gas logs in it. Also, the kitchen has a big window to look out of with a couple of side windows, very nice view. I I just put a new wood laminate floor in the kitchen and replaced carpet in living and dining room and in 3 bedrooms upstairs within the last year or so. I also had wood laminate flooring put in the 2 daylight basement rooms about a year ago as well. The house has been recently painted a neutral color on the inside within the last year or so. I just had both the front porch and the back decks painted, as well as the borders and had the entire home painted a couple of years ago, and it has been kept up by pressure washing the exterior and touching up the paint on the house yearly, so keeps whole house looking like it’s just been painted.
