Available on September 1st. OPEN HOUSE TBD. Text to set up a time. Location: Tiger Mountain Style: A Frame Log Cabin Size: 975 square feet Details: 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, washer and dryer, refrigerator, electric oven, wood stove, electric wall heating units. Description: The log cabin sits on 1.25 Acres of heavily wooded 2nd growth forest on Tiger Mountain. There is a great porch that steps down to a fire pit, a wood shed/storage shed, and a lot of great trees to hang a hammock between. There are 4 great skylights (2 with black out blinds) for great natural light. Water, septic, and pest control are handled by property owner. Tenant is responsible for their own electrical, internet, and garbage/recycling services. You must set these up on your own. Gig speed internet is available through your own contract with comcast (previous renters have worked from home in tech/real-estate without issue). If tenant works with me to split wood then I will provide wood from property (50/50 split for any work we do together), otherwise tenant is responsible to procure their own wood. Requesting $2600 per month. Pets are okay but I would request an additional $25 a month. No need for pet security deposit, but I obviously ask that you clean up/take care of any mess created. Requesting 1st and last month rent. No security deposit needed. Things to know: -The property owner (family of 4) is living next door in another A-frame cabin. -The property has a sauna that the tenant is welcome to use as often as they like (separate building on property). Just know this is shared with my family. It's wood fire. -Tiger Mountain State forest is an easy 5 minute walk away. Services roads and trails are easily accessible. 15-Mile Creek is a 30 minute walk away into the forest where there is fishing. -It's around 10 minutes to Issaquah when traffic isn't bad. Please know that Issaquah-Hobart road (which turns into Front street in Issaquah) can have terrible traffic during peek commute times. -Easy access to cedar grove road which is a quick connection to 169, then 405, then Sea-Tac. Sea-Tac is 35 minutes away during non-peak hours. -Easy access to May Valley road which can lead to Renton and New Castle fairly quickly. -Easy access to highway 18 which leads to Snoqualmie or Federal Way. -THERE IS WILDLIFE. Meaning everything you can think of. Property owner pays for pest control but once or twice a year you'll need to be sure you check and setup mice traps. Text property owner (Andrew). If you prefer to talk, just ask if I'm available. My job is busy so I'm not always free during the work day. Owner would like a 1-year lease for initial contract and is willing to go to month-to-month after that. -Owner covers water and sewage. (Water is from a well on property) -Tenant pays for and sets up their own electrical, waste (garbage/recycling -- Republic Services), and internet.
