    This is a newly renovated apartment in a rural area surrounded by tree farms. Although it has a country atmosphere it is only about one-half mile from a CVS pharmacy, a Publix store, a gas station, a McDonalds, a Pollo Tropical and many other businesses. It is also less than one minute away from a turnpike entrance that will take you to wherever you want to go. This property is within a mile of a major marina which is great for those who enjoy boating or fishing. It is also only 15 minutes away (12.3 miles going south on the turnpike) from the Keys Gate Golf and Country Club which offers golfing to the public every day of the year. Convenience and solitude in one place! Please note that we do not accept Section 8 or any other Government rental assistance programs for this property. We do, however, welcome SS and SSI income. This property is NOT located in the City of Homestead which may be contrary to information provided elsewhere on this site. It is located in Unincorporated Miami-Dade County and is actually much closer to Cutler Bay than Homestead. The company providing electric service is FPL not the City of Homestead. The reason that "Homestead" may show up in the address is that the mail going to this apartment ultimately comes from the Homestead Post Office and it is then routed to smaller sub-Post Offices in the surrounding areas, all of which also may have Homestead addresses even though they are nowhere near the City of Homestead. Owner pays for trash, sewer, lawn and water. Tenant pays for electric (FPL).
