Architect Fred Bissinger's Own River Front Retreat - River Rd.'s historic Ice House location has been transformed by Bissinger in collaboration with Rufo Properties over a period of several years. Cottages and fishing camps have been replaced with stylish and unique, sea worthy modern structures. This most recent project, 252 River Rd. is a personal creation for the architect and has a decidedly Bissinger style. It was designed to create a Nautical Experience and is perfectly sited to capture unobstructed views of the Schuylkill River. From the copper dragon who wraps around the turret to the bronze mermaid anchoring the stairway this home shows off artisan details and is accentuated with artwork and archival architectural antiques at every turn. Traverse the gang plank as if boarding a ship and enter Bissinger's somewhat whimsical yet historical interpretation of modern water-front living in this unique home.
