Just minutes away from Virginia City and Carson City you will find the 225 acre Daney Canyon Ranch. It is located away from all the hustle-bustle of everyday life yet only one-half mile west of Dayton. The Daney Canyon Ranch is enhanced by resort style living. The main Spanish styled home is a 3,278 square foot, 3-bedroom home with magnificent stained glass windows, Spanish tile floors and open floor plan. The main house complex features a large outdoor swimming pool, built-in hot tub and entertainment, cabana with BBQ. Behind the pool area is the generator room in case the ranch loses power. By the upper guesthouse are two large walk-in bunkers for storing food or whatever you need to store. Across the way is the main 32-foot by 60-foot shop with bay doors. The two guesthouses are Spanish style like the main house. The lower guesthouse is 1,766 with beautiful stained glass windows, Spanish tile floors a cabana and large BBQ area. There are 2-bedrooms, 2-baths plus a one-bedroom apartment in the lower guest house. The Buckeye wrangler cabin allows you to step back in time. The Buckeye cabin was designed and built by Buckeye Blake. Buckeye Blake started his art career in the Dayton area as a teenager. He is a painter and sculptor in the traditional or realist style of the Old West. His heroic bronze of Kit Carson can be found in front of the capital in Carson City, Nevada.
