    Located in a quiet neighborhood in East Millinocket is a completely renovated ranch style home of over 1350 square feet. The four-bedroom 2 bath home was originally built in 1970, but has a functional age of a newly built home. The well-constructed ranch style home has been completely renovated inside and out in 2023 and 2024. This is now an energy efficient, low maintenance home. The house was gutted to the studs, and completely rewired including the service entrance and all the outlets, switches and fixtures were replaced. Most of the lighting fixtures are LED which provide bright light and use much less power than conventional lighting. The breaker panel was relocated to the end of the hallway providing much better access to it than its former location in the basement. The breakers within the panel are the latest in GFCI breaker technology. The house is Generac ready having a transfer switch already installed for the addition of a back-up generator. Within the walls, new R-15 Rockwool insulation was installed making the home warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. New double pane windows and entrance doors add comfort and security to the home. New vinyl siding, shutters as well as a pressure treated entrance accentuates the curb appeal of this newly renovated home. Additionally, all the plumbing fixtures were replaced along with the hot and cold-water lines. The old inefficient furnace was replaced with a state-of-the-art HWBB propane boiler. This heating appliance provides not only heat during the colder months but also on demand hot water throughout the year. Propane is a clean burning fuel that produces less greenhouse gasses than other forms of heating fuel. The new state of the art boiler should inspire confidence that you should not need to replace the heating system for many years.
