It is on the West side in the City of Redding and is in the foothills above downtown. It is a great walking neighborhood. It is a short walk to Manzanita Elementary School (K-5), Shasta High School and University Preparatory School (6-12). The house is about 1420 sq.ft. and has three bedrooms and one bath. Additionally, there is a huge basement which is approximately 1,000 sq.ft. There is a washer and dryer in the basement which the owner will leave for you to use, plus there is a work bench. The rest is one big room that can be used for a lot of different purposes. The basement has two exits, one that is an exterior door and a second door on the other side that goes into the house. The new carpet and vinyl plank flooring were installed in 2018. The kitchen was totally gutted and remodeled with granite counters, new cabinets, new flooring and stainless steel gas range, dishwasher and French door refrigerator. The bathroom is also totally new. All window coverings are included. The blue on the dishwasher and range are just protective wrapping for when they were new. There is a large fenced back yard, with a 6' fence and a large covered patio with a fan for those hot Redding days. There is also a parking area for two cars, with an additional small yard that is enclosed with an 18' driveway gate and fence.
