2424 Burgundy Way, Sacramento, CA 95825

I have just finished (March 2020) building onto the home a custom 650 sq. Foot 1 bedroom apartment. The original house is on a quarter of an acre, is a mid century modern 3 bedroom 2 bath home with mahogany focus walls, plate glass window, tongue and groove and beamed ceilings. It has a gas fireplace, a whole house fan, the patio is fully enclosed with south facing wondows and sliders. There are native and drought tolerant plantings and a gorgeous swimming pool. The developement received a National Merit Award 1950-1951 (See Parents'Magazine, February 1952 issue) for it's design, and was written up in Architectural Design. The master bed and bath are on one side of the entertaining area while the children's rooms and bath are on the other side, and can become an apartment. The neighborhood has established trees that give it the feel of parkland, and in fact has a lovely neighborhood park in the center. My home is 10 miles from downtown Sacramento, and 15 to Roseville.
