Skiers can walk to the lifts in the morning, and ski straight home in the afternoon, at this roomy, furnished A-frame on Mad River Glen. Sugarbush is 10 minutes away for those who like to ride. In other seasons, the nearby countryside offers hiking, biking, golfing, swimming and great views. Utilities are included! This has been a magical place for generations of my family. The mountains (and the chalet) reminded my Austrian mother of her home country. The piles of snow, the skiing, the fireplace, the views, were great fun for children, pets -- and adults too! The space: The first floor has a large boot room with laundry and generous space for equipment, an open living/ dining/kitchen area with ceiling-high windows, and a large bedroom area with full bath and sliding glass door to the backyard. A circular staircase accesses the main floor, with open kitchen, dining and living rooms, a large sundeck, custom fireplace, another wall of windows, master bedroom, full bath, new dishwasher, and flatscreen HDTV. Two large curtained bedroom areas on the third floor round out the space. PRICE DROP: A family health issue and the loss of a beloved furry family member has us listing very late. We hope to find someone to enjoy the winter here, even as the snow is starting to fly! ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED: Price includes propane (heat), electric (cooking, hot water), internet and wifi, telephone (local service), washer/dryer, new dishwasher. There is parking in a generous driveway, and plowing is included. (Many people stream these days, but if you'd like, you may also request a cable service plan of your choice to be added on.) SEASONAL RENTAL FOR SKI SEASON. Dates are flexible, but we're asking $15,000 obo for the winter season. Long-term rental is also possible, and we'd offer a discount during non-winter months. We have decided to allowed pets this year, and are happy to hear about yours. No smoking.
