Forest access of Twin Creek Road to dirtbike trails. All manner of critters can be found on this property; elk, moose, deer, bobcat, mtn. lion, fox, and wolf (not fond of people and you'll probably never see one, but they can be heard at night). There is no electric bill (hydro and solar). Cooking and hot water on demand system is with Propane (at tenant's cost). There is no water bill, water is filtered from stream on property. All heat is from wood stoves, 3 in main house, 1 in garage, 1 in cabin, and 1 in dry sauna. The property has 1 snowmobile and 1 ATV for use by tenant is desired for emergencies or winter travel down the mountain to maintained road (7 min drive in good conditions). The road to pavement is a forest service road and not maintained (not plowed). Solar, hydro, and water inlet upstream will need to be maintained by tenant. They are not difficult tasks, unless you are not familiar with them. I am looking for a renter/care taker. Someone who will flourish in an off-grid setting with the potential to be snowed in for a couple of months. This is quite possibly the most difficult renting process I've gone through. I wish I could rent my place to all of you, you're a great group of people, but obviously I cannot. I need to sleep at night knowing I put someone at my home that can 'weather the storm', so to speak. That also means putting someone up there that won't second guess their decision in the middle of winter and 5' of snow. When I have an agreement with someone, I will let everyone know in an email.
