Five years after Frank Fay Jr. bought a section of land in what was then rural northwest New Jersey, he invited community members to form the Fayson Lakes Association in 1930 to help govern a burgeoning population. Today, the Fayson Lakes Association has over 500 family members, and its land and facilities provide an idyllic setting for not only summer activities on its lakes and beaches, but also social activities throughout the year. The Association is comprised of a number of groups - the Women's and Men's clubs, Swim Club, and Yacht Club - that carry out activities throughout the year to benefit the Association and the greater Kinnelon community. The community is very family oriented community with many activites for both adults and children
