The Layout If you've been through South Florida homes in the region, you'll immediately notice characteristics of this home layout that you don't find in this region, anymore. First, there is a formal dining room and living room. It's great for having separate areas, but there is still tons of space in the family room to enjoy. Secondly, it is difficult to find new builds these days that aren't split level. There's no worrying about bathrooms upstairs leaking through your first-level ceiling, because everything is on one level! Additionally, the bedrooms are larger than standard, especially the master bedroom which is very large and at the opposite end of the house for privacy. There are two walk-in closets in the master and one in bedroom #2, and standard pocket closets in rooms #3 & #4. Finally, the hallway is a wonderful feature that sold us on the house in the first place. It's a great return back to home layouts past! About the area: This particular spot is gold in the Bay area, because you are literally in the center of everything. Don't believe? You're actually closer to downtown St. Pete (drive time) than you are to downtown Sarasota. The cities of Sarasota, Bradenton, St. Pete, Tampa and Brandon are literally fusing together in Parrish. UTC is done (although only 20 minutes away). It's inflated and built-out. Now, the growth pattern is moving its way to SR-64, 301 and Moccasin Wallow. If you commute to Sarasota, bypass all the traffic and take LWR Blvd. Just laugh at all the people on 75 while you enjoy the benefits of being on the Lakewood Ranch side.
