The Woods is a private gated community located in the intracoastal west area of Jacksonville, Florida. It is located approximately 5 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. The Woods offers a community center, lap pool, lighted clay tennis courts, lighted basketball court, children's park, baseball field, soccer/football field, many lakes, and nature trails. The guard stations located at the two community entrances are staffed 24 hours a day and visitors must be checked by a guard to enter. There is a residents only gate to enter with a proper access decal.
