    What's special

Amazing country home w/34 ac in the heart of the Sequatchie Valley located in Bledsoe County between Pikeville and Crossville. The wrap around covered porch offers views that are absolutely amazing of both the Cumberland Plateau and Walden's Ridge. If you look to the south down the valley the brilliant sunsets gleam over the 3 ac stocked lake w/a dock (large/small mouth bass, crappie, bream, blue gill, and cat fish). The property is fenced/cross fenced w/a large barn. The middle of the barn has been transformed into an RV garage with 50 amp service, water, and sewage dump station. To complete the outdoors, there is a stamped concrete patio for those weekend BBQ?s adjacent to a 20 x 40 inground heated pool. Speaking of the views, I can't explain how peaceful and relaxing it is to sit by the pool and looking around at the mountains, lake, and pastoral valley. Splendor is almost inadequate to describe. The home is amazing in design and function. With 5,350 sf of living area, there's plenty of room for all your needs. Entering the foyer through the front door find the main stair case which opens to the landing above. Right is the formal living room and left is the formal dining room. Both are spacious and inviting with windows looking out the front porch. Ahead is the family room, the central hub for everyday living. This room is large with French doors opening to the screened porch and a wood burning fireplace for the cool winter evenings. The country kitchen off the family room has solid wood cabinets, hardwood floors, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and an island. From the window over the kitchen sink you can look out to the screened porch/pool. The breakfast room/sunroom is spacious and welcoming with a door to the screened porch and windows overlooking the patio/pool. There is a powder room just off the breakfast area. The library (our home school room) is large with B/I bookcases, and a wet bar complete with mini-fridge and nugget (sonic) ice maker. The utility room is across the hall from a good-sized pantry. Opposite the den is the master bedroom. A very spacious room with large walk in closet and an exercise room. The master bath has recently been remodeled with a tile shower, soaking tub, and dual vanity. Further past the laundry room going toward the garage you find a large "mud room" with a full bathroom. This area is also accessed from the pool/patio area and we refer to this as the pool bath. There is also washer/dryer hookups in this area. The garage is next. The garage contains 1,062 sf and is oversized for that large SUV and pickup with room for UTV and a workshop. Above the garage, but accessed from inside the home is our office. However, it could easily be used as additional living space with living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Going back to the second floor of the home, you will find 3 large bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have walk-in closets that are larger than typical bedrooms. The attic storage space is abundant. Back down stairs and out the back door you will find the screened porch. For those who would rather relax and watch from the shade and peaceful breezes, this porch offers comfort while still connected to the fun outdoors. This area 13'6 wide by 41'7 with plenty of room for entertaining and the tile floors allow for easy maintenance. The attention to detail and quality are evident in the construction of the home. The windows are Pella double hung wood windows and the exterior doors are wood (except one). The sunroom and exercise room have wood casement windows. The crown/dental molding throughout show the attention to detail as does the solid wood wainscoting in the family room. You must see for yourself, the spectacular home. In the photos, you will find a sketch of the home showing the layout and area of the home. You won't be disappointed. More photos coming soon.
