The house is in a great location, convenient to the Arboretum, Trader Joe's, Macrina Bakery, UW, transportation etc. - but this part of Capitol Hill is very quiet. Parking is easy to find on our street. Our family, 2 adults and one cat- live upstairs, and as such we greatly value our tenant relationships. We have actively managed the apartment for 12 years. We are looking for another good fit, ideally a quiet, responsible person who might also be interested in trading house- and cat-sitting for reduced rent when we are out of town. The apartment ceiling is ~ 6' 4" in most places, with a beam in the middle at about 5'6". This apartment may not be for you if you are extremely noise sensitive- this is an old home with floors that sometimes creak. That said, typical conversation level/TV noises do not travel between floors and we are considerate with our waking hours (normally 6am-10pm).
