This house is one of the original farm houses in this area. Unknown exactly when it was originally built. There is a family cemetery on the property and the few stones you can read are dated to the mid 1700s. There are earlier stones which are indecipherable. The house has been renovated several times over the years, however the original post and beam construction is still there. The house sits on 3.67 acres on the base of Illinois mountain and has a gorgeous view of it.
