The duration of the lease is less as important as finding the right tenant. So if you're new to Portland and looking for the short-term rental or perhaps something longer then we'd be willing to work with you on the details. There is no management company and the home owner is a general contractor, living in the neighborhood so he's always available to help when needed. Owner pays all utilities (high-speed internet, gas, water, electric, waste/recycling) so basically the rent is "all-inclusive." We have a small dog so understand what its like trying to rent with pets. All we ask is you treat the home as if it was your own. Smoking is allowed on the premise but absolutely not inside at all (no vaping, tobacco, pot, etc.)...there's a beautiful balcony upstairs and a covered entryway. And as far as specific needs a tenant might have (i.e. perhaps a closet or shelving in the second bedroom/office) I'd be happy to build whatever was needed within reason. Other than that, we look forward to meeting and talking about things...
