As of September 1st, I will officially be an empty nester. I love where I live. I don't want to, but I can't justify living in such a spacious townhome on my own. Which is why I am now renting out space within my home. I have two very kind and friendly cats that mostly stay to themselves. I would consider a renter with a cat or dog, based upon whether or not your cat/dog is able to get along with mine. YOUR SPACE: Private Bedroom(16x10'6) - with Full Bed, Desk, Chair, Dresser, Large Closet space. Large Private Living Space (16x14) - with a sliding glass door that opens to backyard with outdoor seating and a hiking trail. Private Full Bathroom with bathtub/shower. Use of Garage for parking SHARED SPACE: Kitchen (all appliances and amenities), Dining room with table 1/2 bathroom, washer and dryer Full use of Swimming Pool, Clubhouse and modern Fitness Center I am proud of my home and would expect that you would respect my home as if it were your own. You have shared use of the house, yard and all amenities. The monthly rental rate includes all fee, all utilities and WIFI. We will share the Kitchen, Dining Room and half bath on the main floor. You will have access to all of my cookware, plates and utensils. The bedroom is furnished with a full size bed, dresser, desk, desk chair, television and plenty of storage. Your private living space is also furnished. I am proud of my home and would expect that you would respect my home as if it were your own. You have shared use of the house, yard and all amenities. You will have full access to the Luxurious Clubhouse with Swimming Pool, Exercise Room, Business Room, Pool Table, and Lounge Area with seating and a fireplace. Consider the Clubhouse to be an extension of my house that you can access anytime. This is a space where you can invite colleagues, family, and or friends to hang out, watch a sporting event and enjoy yourself. HERE IS AN EXTRA BONUS: For no additional charge you can reserve the clubhouse for up to 4 hours where you can throw a party or host a get together. My townhouse is located approximately 15 minutes from Danbury Hospital, 40 minutes to Northern Westchester, Norwalk and/or Stamford Hospitals. I am minutes away from Boehringer Ingelheim, Danbury Mission Technologies and Belimo. The location is prime for hiking, biking and enjoying the outdoors. I am on the NYS border and several minutes from I-84 (exit 1). . My home borders on Ridgefield, CT- a quaint New England type town that is often named highest for quality of life in the state. Ridgefield is known for its restaurants, music, arts, culture and history. I am active in my community and often do things after work, in the evening and on the weekends. I enjoy traveling, running, biking, swimming and reading. I was never a cat person, but I now have two very sweet, friendly cats who typically stay to themselves or stay in my bedroom. In general, I am a fairly easy going person who gets along well with others. This listing is for a "house" share: At the time of acceptance, I would require your first months rent and 1 month for security. I may have flexibility on the length of your lease, depending upon the circumstances. At this time, the lease would on on July 15th, 2025, unless other arrangements are made. This is a smoke-free house. Parking is either in my attached garage or in an assigned location. I love the home that I live in and I hope that you will as well. I would expect you to do your part in keeping your private space and our shared space tidy. I have two friendly cats. I would consider accepting a tenant with a pet, depending upon how that pet would get along with my cats.
